How do stereotypes influence the way in which men and women are managed at work?

I work for a large business. Women are allowed to leave work early because it’s assumed they have kids to pick up from school. Men are asked more than women to work weekends and evenings.

    It depends on the person.

I am personally never faced problems on work, based on gender stereotypes. I believe that if you do your work professionally - your gender doesn't matter. But if you do your work not good and your manager says it to you, you can start looking for some reason outside of you. But in fact, the only who is responsible for you and your success is yourself, whoever you are male or female.
