    (3.1 × 10^20 molecules NO2) / (6.022 × 10^23 molecules/mol) × (46.0055 g NO2/mol) = 0.02368 g =

    2.4 × 10^-5 kg NO2

    (b)

    (0.0385 g C2H4Cl2) / (98.9592 g C2H4Cl2/mol) × (2 mol Cl / 1 mol C2H4Cl2) = 0.000778 mol Cl

    (c)

    (4.55 g SrH2) / (89.6359 g SrH2/mol) × (2 mol H ions / 1 mol SrH2) × (6.022 × 10^23 ions/mol) =

    3.1 1020 molecules ?? what does this mean?

    (b) moles of Cl atoms in 0.0385 g C₂H₄Cl₂

    Molar mass is 98.96 g/mol

    molar mass of Cl₂ = 35.4 g/mol

    proportion of Cl is 35.4/98.96 is 0.358

    0.358 x 0.0385 g = 0.0138 g
