What is the best way to layer blackened chicken & bean nachos with chili con queso without creating a soggy mess of tortilla chips?

Use the beans like spackle to protect them.

Just build it in alternate layers, It will be still a bit messy, Its supposed to have some of each topping on as many chips as you can.
Dig in and get a little messy, just keep the napkins on hand!

The trick to crispy chips is use the thick kind, the ones that are made from real tortillas, and to use a THIN layer of chips and not put too much toppings on them.
Cheese directly on top of the chips, then your other ingredients, then a little more cheese.
