Why in these days foods smell of acetone?Is it dangerous?

Update:

There,s is then any possibility of food impoisonment,I then again don,t love foods.What a bad life it was.

    It's all in your head. Food does not smell like acetone.

    Which foods smell of acetone?....mine doesn't.

    Pear drops smell of esters .

    I don't know where you get your ingredients or food from but my chow doesn't smell of acetone.
