Any chance I got a fried beak in my McNuggets?

I just ate this small fried piece that was in the box and it was really crunchy with a crabshell like texture.

Not likely. The head of the chicken is seldom processed. Chickens have kind of a weird digestive system. instead of grinding food up with their teeth (since they have none) they have an organ called the gizzard. Gizzards contain hard material that grinds up the hard foods chickens eat. The usual supplement fed to chickens so they have something in their gizzards to grind food is crushed oyster shell. It's possible that the contents of a gizzard got into the meat stuff that McNuggets are made from.
