Is an 2 hour and 30 minute shift at work long?

    No, not at all. When I first started on Wall Street, I was working 16 hour days

    If you feel that 5 minutes is long, then 2 hours and 30 minutes will be VERY long. On the other hand, if you feel 5 hours is not long, then 2 hours and 30 minutes will seem like no time at all. It depends upon one's perspective.

  • I've worked 16 hour shifts. Some people have worked 24 hour shifts. A 2.5 hour shift is nothing. 2.5 hours between breaks is nothing. If you can watch a movie for 2.5 hours without a break, then you can work 2.5 hours without a break.

    no, usual shifts are 8 hours. 

    unless you mean time between breaks? which is not a shift....
