Is it ok to use a lap top computer in bed?

    Yes you can use but do not use on pillow. Make sure your Laptop heating air should be pass away easily.

    It is okay just as long as you or anyone DOES NOT BLOCK ANY VENTS ON THE BOTTOM OR SIDE OF THE LAPTOP. BLOCKED FANS ARE ALMOST GUARANTEED TO CAUSE HEAT DAMAGE TO THE INTERNAL COMPONENTS. Heat damaged components also have shorter life span.

    Sometimes it is more comfortable to set on pillow and use laptop.

      No. Blocked fans will cause heat damage if the system overheats.

    yes. even if you fall asleep, the laptop will power down after a period of inactivity

    Yes, no problem but be careful not to block the ventilation holes at the sides or under the laptop. This is where a bed tray (breakfast in bed table?) will come in handy.

    It's okay but you can't cover the bottom of the laptop.  If you put it on a pillow, or flat on the blankets, it can't suck in air through the bottom and it could overheat.
