You put God first by living by the ideals set forth by Moses and by his Son Jesus Christ. To put it simply, read the Ten Commandment and do not stray from them, if you do you should pray for forgiveness. After that read what Jesus Christ said about how to live and love the people around you. It is that simple. All people are God's people. Listen to what people say and not how people say things for the truth is there. To listen is to hear God and to speak is to push forth the will of God, So mind what is said to those around you. Be Holy and do not judge those around you. To judge others is to judge yourself, please leave judgement to God.

I must see to be, and I must feel to know. Put God first and you will see his wonders.

Ideals set forth by Moses includes how hard you can beat your slaves before you face punishment, and guidelines on selling your daughter into slavery. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus+21&version=NIV

    Begins from following your heart.

Feeling is real. Thoughts are created. They come and go; they change, disappear, and become totally invalid tomorrow. Feeling doesn't. It stays. Theories are great to read, but don't ever trade them for feeling, because you have to feel, too.

This is about your heart. You cannot fool your heart. You can fool your mind, and the mind can fool you, and it does. But the heart cannot be fooled, and the heart does not fool you.

So the heart has to be the judge, not the mind. A change of priorities has to occur. Simplicity. Feeling. Feel every step that you take. Feel every day that you live. It isn't just that a day comes and goes. It is that in this day you exist. Do you feel that? When that begins to change, understanding comes.

Wake up early. Grab a coffee. Go sit in a quiet place and read your Bible.

Prepare your heart.... close your eyes and breathe deeply. Ask the Lord to make His words exciting to you. Chase after His heart. Ask to know Him more. Be grateful and give thanks. Praise Him as He opens up the secrets in the sacred texts to you. Let His Spirit guide you.

Give Him the first part of your day... and meditate on what you've learned the rest of the day. Live out what He tells you to do... don't *just* read it. Live in obedience to it.

God bless you on your journey.

See you in paradise one day. ;)

When you first wake up in the morning, worship Him and thank Him for your life and a good night's sleep. Ask Him to take over your day and lead and guide you all day long. Ask Him to protect you and give you wisdom for problems you may have to face. Then pray for others - those you know who are sick or suffering in some way.

Read God's Word (The Bible for a few minutes) just to see what God might want to say to you for that day. Keep those scriptures and words in your mind - recall them regularly throughout the day. Think on and say out loud the Lord's pray, asking God to forgive you for your sins and any evil thoughts, words or deeds.

Be kind to everyone, all day long. Be patient with everyone. Be self controlled. Love everyone, forgive everyone. Do good to those who hate you. Pray for and bless those you spitefully use you and persecute you (Matthew 5:44).

Thank God for your meals when you sit down to eat. He has been a wonderful Provider. Thank Him at the end of the day for the beautiful weather, sunshine, rain, His wonderful world that He made for us to live in and enjoy. Thank Him for good friends, relatives, help you have received or problems solved etc.

Go to bed in peace and thank God for your life, your health, your strength - ask Him for a good night's sleep for those who are ill or bereaved and for yourself etc.

In other words, in between other tasks, listen for God's voice, think about Him being in your life and with you because He is - He said, "I will NEVER leave you nor forsake you" so talking to Him on and off all day is acknowledging His presence with you and having fellowship with Him. It's wonderful.

Do what the New Testament says to do. That easy. That's how you put God first in your life.

    .

Of course, even putting God first in your life isn't going to get you into heaven. Works never save. Believing in Jesus to take you to heaven (without adding works), is the only way to heaven. Then as a believer, you ought to do what the New Testament says, as that is what is best for so many reason.

But to be in heaven and not hell, believe in Jesus (who is God and Savior). That simple.

Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell. The truth is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether the person believed in Jesus for eternal life, or not.

    .

The truth is that Jesus loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death
