Why don't we change the alphabet?

Its had a good run, but most people are sick of it. 26 "letters"? Time for a change.

Because there's no compelling reason to. There's nothing that can't be described using the current alphabet. Change merely for the sake of change is ludicrous, even demented.

Our Alphabet is just fine.My son gave me a Danish newspaper.
I noticed some altered letters and the nearly absence of C,Q,X and W.
I prefer our alphabet without accents, superscripts or altered letters.

How many letters would you like our alphabet to have?

Because everyone would have to learn it again.

I'm ready to delete the C, Q, and X from it; but we will need a new alphabet song, and that could be confusing if the schools are too busy teaching human potential to teach writing. 聽

English does not need a C,Q or X

In the case of C either K or S would do

Really we do not need another alphabet.

To get an easier way to spell English seems to be desirable but it is also impossible.Mr.Webster found that out and stopped after a few words.

The Spanish alphabet has the "帽" letter, maybe we can use it in the English alphabet as well.

Alright lead this revolutionary change away. The alphabet is useful and out of those letters forms every word.

OH please. We already stopped teaching you to write and just let you print. You're illiterate enough now. Half the posters on here don't have fundamental grammar skills. Or can spell.
