How much does it cost to take 5 people on a trip to Italy for 4 weeks?

Where are you going from, how are you travelling, where are you going when you get to Italy, where will you be staying when there, what meals will you all want, is anything paid for in advance, what do you want to do when you get there. As an extremely rough rule of thumb we reckon on about £150 per person per day to cover all costs once we've arrived in the country, we stay 3 or 4 star and like to eat out and visit the attractions. So by that reckoning approximately £21,000. for the Italian trip.

Depends on a lot of factors - where you're coming from, how you're traveling there, when you're traveling, where you're staying, what you're doing, how you eat, etc. It'll be a lot of money.

Bottom line, a trip to Italy costs about a $1,000 per day for a family of four (give or take.) Keep in mind that there are ways to do this for less including: using points for airfare, staying in Airbnbs/vacation rentals, taking small group tours, cooking your own meals, and limiting your extra spending

That depends, for one thing, on where they travelled from. It also depends on whether they stay at 5 star hotels or hostels, if they hire a car and driver or take buses, whether they eat at the best restaurants in town or make their own sandwiches. In other words, we can't tell you. Almost all the travel information you could want, including prices, is available online if you care to do a little googling.
