    the Monarchy is the oldest forms of governments in the United Kingdom ,in the Monarchy ,the Queen or King is the head of state,

      But even having a monarchy does not guarantee that all citizens will learn to write well.

    because the people of the united kingdom have not sought to change from the current arrangement of monarchy to a federal presidential style system.

      The opening of parliament with all those fancy dresses,must have cost a bundle of hard earned tax payers money.And prince Charley all trust-up like Christmas tree.I was waiting for the lights to come on but,no.The queens tiara had blown a fuse.

    Because the UK isn't a sheep like most of the rest of the world which thinks an executive President is better as head of state. A handful of sensible countries have ceremonial presidents.
