Do you folks know who's required to follow the 1st Amendment and who's not? I know, but many others here don't?

The 1st Amendment states (in part) that the government cannot levy legal consequences upon someone for expressing an opinion.

It does NOT mean what many conservatives seem to think it does: that conservatives get to say whatever they want, whenever they want, wherever they want, and everyone else has to sit there and listen to them and there can be no consequences whatsoever.

Like all of the Rights listed in the Bill of Rights the First Amendment is designed to Limit the Power of the Federal Government. They all protect Citizens.

Therefore it it is the Government that is put on notice and the Government that is required to follow it.
