Israel isn't completely uninvolved, but their actions have been minimal and honestly aren't directed at the conflict but at spillover which effects them. For example, bombing weapons caches which likely would be used against them as well as accepting a few refugees, particularly those desperate enough to seek medical attention from a nation so heavily demonized by their media.

Now, your question is what would happen if Israel's involvement upgrades from seldom and fringe to something more active and central to the Syrian conflict. There is a reason Israel has avoided getting much more involved, despite having an interest as a concerned neighbor. The reason for this is the response from the rest of the Arab and Muslim world, which would not favor the Israelis at all. Israel actively sending soldiers in would be used as a war-cry by extremist and radical groups and leaders to inspire increased hostility towards Israel, much more than there is now. We'll see many more people than even now call for Israel's annihilation, by terrorism and war, and perhaps more young men and women would be inspired to join groups like ISIS because they perceive an advancing "threat" to the Islamic world.

More specifically, if Israel gets involved that'll just spark at-home tension. Sending Israelis to die in a war they can avoid would piss off many nationals, given that Israel already is in a conflict that has taken many lives away from them. However, the real problem would be the terrorist groups who'll use this as justification to ramp up violence and perhaps start another intifada. They'll see their enemy as something with their attention divided, and when it comes to harming Israel they never miss those opportunities.

I know a lot of people criticize Israel for not getting involved, but they really don't understand just how it makes things worse. It'll mobilize a significantly large part of the Arab and Muslim world against the side Israel is on, which obviously makes things worse.

Israel has been involved since the beginning. They're the one's who not only created ISIS but the ones who supplied them as well with the help of the USA. Al Baghdadi is a Mossad Agent named Simon Elliot, and their main goal was to create a coup against President Bashar Al Assad. President Al Assad's forces are responsible for protecting the Syrian homeland from invasion by terrorists and to foil the Zionists' plans. Zionists and Western Media sources lie made lies about false-flag Chemical Weapons use amongst other things.

It's amazing to me how the West jumped all aboard the war train when chemical weapons were allegedly used by Al Assad's forces, but no one paid much mind to the negative results that came up when they tested for that such use, and those entities who did use such weapons (Israel and USA) didn't receive too much attention either.

What also amazes me is the many times Israel has used chemical weapons (such as White Phosphorus) on innocent civilians yet no one wants to invade Israel and throw out their leaders...

Below is a clip from ORTAS Radio Damascus with some evidence of Israel's involvement in Syria, plus a picture explaining a little bit more of what I'm referring to about Simon Elliot...

Do you think they are not involved ?

The Zionist state started it, When Bachar stopped to listen to the zionists they took a decision to weaken him, not to take him out of his throne, as of now, they are reaching all targets in Syria from the north to the south, from east to west, but using their tools on the ground to kill civilians (not under their name under ISIS name or others) to reach the zionist goal from the Nile to the Euphrates.

Zionists are Evil, nothing matters when it comes to their goal, they can kill 8 billion people to make the prophecy (so called prophecy).

They have in a way by attacking Iranian arms depots in Syria where Hezbollah is fighting on the side of the Assad regime. Their claim is the arms are ultimately destined for use by Hezbollah in Palestine against targets in Israel.

    Israel's involvement in Syria is:

    1) Target weapon shipments from Iran.

    2) Target Syrian air defense if they fire at Israeli jets whilst they're targeting those weapon shipments.

    3) Target Syrian Army positions when 'errant' fire hits Israeli controlled territory (the Golan Heights)

As for the current Turkey-Syria/Kurdish situation, Israel is generally more pro-Kurd as around 250,000 Kurdish Jews live in Israel, but Israel isn't going to get involved with Turkey - a country that doesn't threaten Israel in anyway whatsoever.. nor are they going to help Syria - a country they're still at war with - by targeting Turkish-backed terrorists.

They are and have been all along, in fact they practically started it by stealing Syrias water supply when they swiped a water rich section of Syria called the Golan heights in the 80's.

The Syrian war began as a protest against the government for failing to deal with a drought.

New alliances all around. I’m surprised the Kurds haven’t thought of that.

They've been quietly involved the whole time.  They have made several air attacks on Iranian (OK allegedly Iranian) military bases in Syria.

They already have been involved. Read the news.
