Best to contact the bakery dept or your local supermarket and order them in advance.

I think that you can find these in supermarkets, grocery stores, or even some bakeries or pastry shops. You can find packs of 6 or 12. Muffins are available mostly everywhere. If you cannot find any, maybe you can order some from a pastry shop. Just ask them not to ice it.

Yes, they usually have packs of 12 plain cupcakes or 'small' cookies in some supermarkets.

Find a local bakery (even big box bakeries are fine, like Walmart or Kroger) and request as many undecorated cookies or cupcakes in whatever flavor you wish. You could also use refrigerated cookie dough or a box cake mix

I am sure any bakery, even one from a grocery store would sell un frosted cupcakes.

Same with the cookies just order sugar cookies, plain and you can ice them how you want.

It's funny I would rather make cupcakes than decorate them. And I don't "do" decorated cookies!

Just pre-order them from your nearest bakery. I am sure they will oblige.
