Why does life hurts?

It is all in how WE interpret what is happening, and the self-statements we consciously make, which are taken up by our subconscious.
We set our own brain patterns (which is what our subconscious is), and 95% of our emotions arise automatically FROM that content.
So we need to be very careful what we feed into our brain.
Negative things happen to everyone, and in the end our bodies slowly fall apart and then we die. YET, whether or not this makes us unhappy is up to us.
Happiness is a state of mind.

Because of sin. Human nature is bad. That's why we need a Savior. Please read the New Testament for more information. Start with the Gospel of John; then Romans. Ask Jesus Christ into your life as Lord and Savior and follow Him. He is a faithful friend.

This only happens when there's someone in your life who is constantly belittling you and telling you how to live your life. This elicits a feeling of low self-confidence from not being assured of what you want to be/do.

It comes from a lack of contentment.
We often confuse pleasure and a state freed of discomfort for happiness.
But joy comes down to how content you are, personally.

Life was a big board game and the box is just as big. So, it will hurt if someone smacks you with it, it will hurt.
