Are Hedgehog predators?
do they attack any other animal?

Hedgehogs are omnivores and eat a wide variety of foods, including other animals. Even if their diet were composed entirely of animals it would be better to describe them as carnivores rather than predators. They will eat things such as insects, earthworms, slugs, etc. Unlike a predator they do not need to hunt them by chasing them.

No, they are prey animals, their defense is to ball and spike with quills a bit like porcupine.
They do eat things like insects, invertebrates, worms, snails, slugs, will take carrion, scraps, some plant material and an opportunist robber taking mice, baby birds and eggs.
Awful inoffensive otherwise, scared of larger animals.

When I lived in Pennsylvania, the groundhogs sometimes ambushed my friends dog. It was sort of a payback because the dog often killed them. but when working together as a group, they were able to overcome him.
