Indonesia is a part of the Asian continent AND the Australian continent. But its borders leave Asia and the Eurasian plate before they reach the equator.

Actually, there are only two: Africa and South America. Indonesia spans two continents, and most of its islands are on their own tectonic plates. So Indonesia cannot be considered a southern hemisphere expansion of Asia.

South America, Africa, and Asia, if you include Indonesia as part of Asia (and you should!)

Indonesia is three entities: A southern part of Asia (entirely north of the equator), an archipelago on multiple plates straddling the equator, and a northern part of Australia (on Papua New Guinea).

As far as continental land masses only South America and Africa. The islands of Indonesia straddle the Equator they are considered part of Asia.
