Is this diet okay?
Breakfast - Eggs
Lunch - Edamame
Dinner - Chicken / Beef / Fish + Rice + Vegetables
Snack - Blueberries / Golden Berries / Strawberries / Bananas / Seasonal Fruits
Its the cheapest diet I can think of - my parents buy the fruit

Your breakfast and lunch should also include grains, vegetables and fruit. You want a lot of calories during the day so muscles don't have to cannibalize themselves during strenuous activity; and fewer calories in the evening so you can burn fat at night.

It’s not terrible but it is lacking in the bread/grains department. You need to add some grains (oatmeal, brown rice, whole grain breads) so you’re getting enough carbohydrates and fiber.Source(s): Nurse
