Can you go blind from dry eye?

My eyes get dry easily especially when I don't drink water for a long time. And I have pink eye in one eye and the other eye never gets red (which is so weird because red eyes happen when people stay up at night).

People tell me to splash water in my eye, but at night, my eye gets really dry and when I do that it fees even dryer.

My go to the eye doc every year and they give me the same drops, which helps my pink eye but then it comes back the next year.

I also get floaters sometimes, whenever I get up too fast.

That's quite the jump you made from having dry eyes to going blind.

Who are the "people" who tell you to splash water in your eye?

Because that's just stupid and dangerous.

Get some lubricating, preservative-free eye drops from the store. You can use them as often as you like.

Drops for pink-eye are not the same as drops for dry eyes.

Also, if you know you're not drinking enough water, then drink more water.
