Recycling is a good idea, but why cut back on livestock?

Stop eating meat, if that’s what YOU choose. Buy recycled items and stop getting a new phone every year. When you attend a gathering of people, a protest, a concert, the beach, etc, teach people to clean up after themselves. Teach people to stop throwing trash out of the window when driving, or toss trash when walking to bus stops. Many of the young talk about green living, yet they themselves are the worst offenders. Stop expecting others or the government to do something until you yourself “walk the walk”. Set an example and encourage others. People don’t respect others or our laws today, so you can’t expect them to respect our environment. Let’s teach respect, responsibility, morals, etc. it’s a societal attitude that carries over to many things including caring for our environment.

livestock: cloning (ground) meat has been proved in laboratory and even in kitchen...but it will have to be large-scale to be able to compete on price with regular ground meat, and it will not replace "cuts" of meat

reduce government support of livestock farming
