Can symptoms such as swollen lymph nodes happen before HIV is detectable?

    They can, but swollen lymph nodes can happen for a wide variety of reasons, so don't be alarmed just because lymph nodes are swollen

    If the lymph nodes are swollen and it was due to an HIV infection then that would mean the body has released antibodies to fight off the infection and that would make it detectable so no.
