Can I dye everything EXCEPT my roots?

I put sun-in in my hair a couple months ago and my hair now has this ginger, copper tone I dislike. My virgin hair has grown out (dark brown color) however I want my entire hair to be the same color again WITHOUT touching my roots. Would that even be possible?

A professional hair colorist could do this, but it would be very difficult to impossible to do it yourself.

  • You can get it toned down so it's not so coppery.

If you want to go back to brown, you would have to find a dye that matches as close to your natural color as possible so the roots won't be as noticeable. If you've never dyed your hair before, consider seeing a professional and have them dye your hair.
