why don't items stay on your watchlist on ebay?

like i have 300 items i'm watching on my watchlist on ebay, then i refreshed the page and now i've got 298 items on my watchlist and i never removed any items i'm watching?  they're all precious to me....its so annoying that ebay does this.

plus; is there any way to find out what items were removed from my watchlist?

If it's a single listing such as a one-off auction item or private buy-it-now, ebay deletes the original listings 90 days after they end. They will also be removed from watched items then.

They only stay long-term if the seller keeps refreshing the listing and putting more of the same item on.

Another reason is if the listing has been deleted by ebay, eg. if the seller was keyword spamming, listing counterfeit items or got banned for some reason.

There is no way to see what was removed as far as I know.

Not sure, maybe the item is no longer listed. Ebay has its own forum for these questions.
