How do I transition from a Recruiter to an HR Generalist?

I’ve been a Recruiter for 3 years. My degree is in Management and Labor Relations with an HR focus. I am SHRM certified. I would love for my next role to be an HR Generalist role. What are some things I can do to prepare? What can I leverage from recruiting when interviewing for generalist roles?
