Do Christians' past or current victims have the right not to forgive them?

    They have the freedom to do so, but that does not make it a right.

      B.S. That means you can do whatever you want and demand your victims forgive you.

      Jesus never had his whole family slaughtered, are had someone destroy his life when he said that.

    Trust must be earned, not coerced or expected without question or concession. Being Christian is no substitute for accountability for one's own actions.

    Everyone must forgive but you don't have to trust the person or be near them just don't hate them.

    U can choose not to forgive but U will be the one who suffers in the end. Unforgiveness eats you up inside. Better to forgive and be free.

    They have every right that they chose.

    Not unlike acceptance,

    forgiveness is voluntary ... it is not necessary, nor is it inevitable
