What is the dancing style used in Lord of the Dance?

    Irish.  "Move the legs but act as if your arms are paralyzed."

    It is based on traditional Irish dance, but then developed much further. Choreographed by main dancer Michael Flatley to be more exciting and be a full length stage performance.

    The preceeding sfhow Riverdance, also with Flatley, was a bit more traditional and was first seen on a Eurovision Song Contest just before the vote counting.
