I’m a 16 year old girl and I was 5’7 a couple months ago, I was measured at the doctor with no shoes on. I’m now 5’4. Does anyone know why?

Update:

I wasn’t wearing shoes either time and when I got home my dad measured me both times.

SO TRUE!  i lost an inch between doctor's visits. Went home and measured carefully. The twit couldn't convert inches to feet!

That happened to me at a new doctors office. When I told the nurse it was unlikely I grew 3 inches in my 30's she just laughed. I did not grow, you probably didn't shrink, its a measuring error.
