Usually they're angry with their Fundie parents and their parents' Fundie church. Unfortunately, they often keep the Fighting Fundie style of rhetoric.

Because some of them have been disappointed when they said prayers.

Pascal had a wager and it is one of the best mathematical equations and it says this:  In the absence of belief it is best to believe just in case there is God.

I'm open minded.  You show me empirical evidence, and I'll be a believer.  But no empirical evidence, no belief.

Because they have not yet met Him. Many do so every year.

If, by "God", you mean the Christian God, why do you not believe that Allah, Baal, Brahma, Ra, Poseidon, Ik Onka, Wodin Jupiter, Ganesh and all the other gods do not exist? Followers of those gods do not believe your god exists for the same reasons you don't believe in theirs. Atheists don't believe in any of them simply because there is no testable evidence to support claims that any gods exist.
