Glysophate was first developed in 1960 and patented in 1964.

Roundup was first marketed in 1974.

So 40 - 50 years depending on when you date it from.

40 years at least; maybe longer. I would think the risk of illness would be higher for people who work on landscaping crews since they had more exposure to the chemicals. The average homeowner didn't use it that often (hopefully), so it shouldn't be a problem for them.

A long time.  Yes, they are culpable because they kept marketing it after they found out it had a relatively high risk of contributing to cancer.  But posting childish gotcha questions about it is pointless and childish.

Glyphosate has been around for a long long time. And all of us old people have used it on golf courses and and landscaping and in our homes and the label makes no reference to the fact. That it's a danger level toxin it has a caution label on it. It doesn't tell you on the old labels to wear gloves goggles a respirator and a protective suit. It has been thought of as safe for many years. that's what's going to become quite an issue in the court of law.
