Many of the Commonwealth Nations of which the Queen is head of state still use the UK national anthem, even if they have an alternative home grown anthem. Others have gone their own way. Monarchies like Bhutan or Spain reference their leader, Andorra still sings about Charlemagne.

The North Koreans also sing about their Dear Leader. There is a distinct possibility that it would be a matter of life and death if they didn't.

Many countries have anthems that mention their leaders. Jordan, for example, has an anthem that begins عاش المليك (Long Live The King).
