λ = (h / mv)

λ = wavelength

h = Planck’s constant = 6.626 x 10⁻³⁴ J•s = 6.626 x 10⁻³⁴ kg•m²/s

m = mass (kg)

Here, the mass is mass of an electron = 9.109 x 10⁻³¹ kg

λ = (h / mv)

= (6.626 x 10⁻³⁴ kg•m²/s) / [(9.109 x 10⁻³¹ kg) x (5.97 x 10⁶ m/s)]

= 1.22 x 10⁻¹⁰ m ………… to 3 sig figs

converting to picometers,

λ = (1.22 x 10⁻¹⁰ m) x (10¹² pm / 1 m) = 122. pm
