Why does it seem like God blesses some people but not others?

Tom Brady and his children are benefiting from past obedience to the terms of Christ's New Covenant which requires that we abandon tribal warfare and grudges and forgive all past debts in exchange for forgiveness of all of our own past debts, joining a Covenant of common wealth, cross-tribal brotherhood, knowledge sharing and equality.

The degree to which we embrace this and remain loyal to it, is the degree of our ongoing divine blessing.

Starving to death or dying in a genocide sucks, but ask the guys dying in excruciating pain with AIDS from deviant sex or someone slowly dying of cancer in the 'first world' while being kept alive by 'artificial' modern medicines if they would trade places.

Those 'blessed' are also in a position to help the starving and those otherwise destroyed in genocides as long as the tribal leaders agree to give them access, (thus, at least partially agreeing to the terms of the new cross-tribal brotherhood). Otherwise, watching their own kids starve or die violently is an ongoing lesson about the new world arrangement established by Christ and their need to repent and accept it:

'The first will be last and the last first.' (Mark 10:31).

Being a 'king' in your own mind and refusing to embrace human equality is the base of all modern suffering.

You don't get to blame GOD for it. He allows us each to make our own choice and learn from our own decisions. This is called 'liberty,' (2 Corinthians 3:17).

You are going to need to find some other lame excuse to reject GOD and live under His wrath while taking His past blessings for granted. This one doesn't fly.

(Ecclesiastes 9:11) I have seen something further under the sun, that the swift do not always win the race, nor do the mighty win the battle, nor do the wise always have the food, nor do the intelligent always have the riches, nor do those with knowledge always have success, because time and unexpected events overtake them all.

BECAUSE TIME AND UNEXPECTED EVENTS OVERTAKE THEM ALL.

Jesus said if you put the kingdom of God first in your life He will provide for your needs. God will give you what you need to live not what you want.

    Matthew 6:31-33

So never be anxious and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or, ‘What are we to drink?’ or, ‘What are we to wear?’ 32 For all these are the things the nations are eagerly pursuing. Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

33 “Keep on, then, seeking first the Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added to you.

It doesn't just seem like that - it IS like that. Try reading the book of Ecclesiastes which shows the unfairness and futility of living in a godless world, that the race is not to the swift or the food to the wise (9:10-11). That's what applies to that poor starving child in your picture - evil people have used the politics of poverty, drought and famine and war to get what they want, irrespective of millions of innocent people suffering. God has warned us that we will reap what we sow - a hundred-fold.

That's why our world is descending into horrible darkness. The world in general is godless, even in those countries that profess to believe in God. So many God-believers are godless! The question is, what are you doing about it? Are you giving aid to starving children or not? Do you know how many Christian charities are doing immense work, world-wide, irrespective of religious belief or unbelief, to help the starving? No. You clearly don't.

Because God blesses some and not others.  God is sovereign.

Apparently the Christer god likes White Anglo-Saxon American born Protestants born with a silver spoon in their mouths more than he likes anyone else.

It's almost exactly and precisely like no gods actually exist.
