What is the funniest word in the English language?

Personally, I would have to say 'turd' is the word. I cannot say, hear or read the word 'turd' without having at least the urge to smile or even chuckle.

Schadenfreude, a German word we adopted.  Means "laughing at someone else's misfortune," as in enjoying watching someone else fall on the ice.  I like the word but I LOVE that the Germans have a word for it.

Used alone with no context, none of them.  I have to disagree with "republican" being funny.  It's just sad.
