What's trade in value of a 2004 Dodge Stratus for a new car?

Update:

The old lady next door thinks she will get 10,000$ old people ...the transmission is bad too.

    $500 if you're lucky.

A very unreliable car that is worth very little on trade, even in the best condition. In that condition, I would guess around a thousand or less. The transmission replacement would cost more than the car is worth.

15 year old piece of crap when brand new... she'll be lucky if they offer her more than $500.

Depends on the mileage, conditions, options, trim level and location.  None of which you gave.

Go to kbb.com and enter in the necessary data and it will give you an estimate.

It depends on the mileage and configuration, but probably around 500 dollars.

Whatever the dealership will give you. It has no inherent trade-in value.

With a bad transmission you will be lucky to get $500 (probably junk value) & not Kelly bluebook
