Two ways anyone can identify God's people. Their words and actions should reflect their God.

The people chosen by God, it is clear from the works they do, following God's commandments, regardless of whether he is Jewish or Indian, etc. ..., God does not make preferences for those who listen to his word and put it into practice!
Anyway, from the story about this individual, I don't think he's a Christian!

It doesn't matter.
Whether they like it or not,
all "christians" are children of the Jews.

How else could Jabba the Hutt score with so many beautiful women?
28"From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; 29for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." (Romans 11:28-29).
GOD doesn't remove gifts and blessings after He grants them, but they actually become a curse to those who abuse them, use them for personal gain, exploitation of others and greater evil. We can foolishly choose to see GOD's power and wisdom as an occult source of personal advantage even while getting 'close' to GOD in the practical sense. This is exactly what Judas Iscariot did, beating out thousands of other 'good' men for the coveted spot among Christ's twelve closest disciples, witnessing power and genius never before seen, all while using the opportunity only to advantage himself.
In many ways, Hollywood itself is very much like this, starting out as a 'planned Christian community' while gaining traction and resources with Christian help until ultimately betraying this vision for a system of exploitation, deviant sex, and nonstop depictions of bloodletting and violence, all while viewing its own people as expendable 'stars,' the way Judas saw Jesus.

Jews haven't been God's chosen people for over 2000 years now. So no.

Being "God's chosen", as a Jew, does not mean that that person is going to Heaven. At this point, though soon to change, the Jews rejected their Messiah, which is a certain eternal path to the lake of fire. Jews that accept Jesus as Lord and Savior are going to Heaven. The Jews are "chosen" in this way: God made two eternal promises: 1) that they would be a blessing to all nations and 2) that they would have the land that Israel now occupies and more land that is adjacent ("from the wadi of Egypt [Nile] to Euphrates"). See Genesis 12 and 15. That Israel was restored as a nation in 1948 and regained control of Jerusalem in 1967 were the fulfillment of promises that God had made in the context of their being "chosen" (see Ezekiel 36 and 37). God chose them ultimately to be His witnesses during the seven year tribulation, just about at our doorstep (See Revelation 7 and 14). And a large portion of Israel will turn to faith in Jesus (Ezekiel 39). As to Weinstein, time for him to repent and get right with Jesus, which is the same message to 100% of the world's population. Anyone who repents and receives Jesus as Lord and Savior becomes God's chosen.

God has no special love. We are happier when we don't.
