Why do Americans think hard-work is a good a thing?

Don't you understand working 40 hours/week+

leads to an early death?!? It's cruel to be

teaching that philosophy to young-people.

Being an American these day is a curse;

but it wasn't always like that. Your thoughts?

    Working doesn't kill people faster. Working gives people something to do.

    You can do whatever you want.  its a free country, if you dont want to work then dont, its up to you.  You can live off the land if you want.  Thats a tough life style though.

    You get that time back in a residual network marketing plan like Amsoil or Amway. Check out their D&B and BBB ratings.

    So how many hours a week do YOU think people should work.

    If you lived 200 years ago, you would be working a lot more than 40 hours a week.
