What do you think humans could accomplish if raised a certain way?

For example, if a child was raised from infancy in a controlled environment where they were expected to perform "impossible" tasks, (such as telekinesis, divination etc), fully believing they could and practicing doing them, what do you think a human could do?

In the examples you described, they would most likely be driven to insanity. However, for intellect, physical performance and other earthly traits, you could in theory raise them to be exceptional. Though again, raising kids in a highly ‘controlled’ environment would likely carry with it pathological side affects.

The impossible is actually impossible, even to those who don't know that it's impossible. Some things are the way they are just cuz that's the way it is......

Watch the tv show, the pretender. That’s pretty much what you described.
