Do you think technology will ever stop advancing?

A good example of this would be a tv, they’re super thin nowadays and the picture quality looks great, will a tv reach a point were it can’t get any better?

Once there are sex robots, the words "technology has advanced" will come out of my mouth.

The answer is no. Technology must always advance with changing times.

If you live inside a TV, then that is the world. But that world keeps evolving. It becomes more realistic. It will become so realistic that one day its inhabitants will walk out of the screen...and not notice any difference.

It will plateau but then just a small novelty feature may start the avalanche of improvements all over again.

Not all technology advances at the same rate.

Example: Modern passenger jets fly no faster than the earlier ones did in the 60s. The one that went twice as fast never caught on, and was taken out of service over 15 years ago.

As far as TVs go, who knows ? There are some 8K sets out there, but there is, as yet, pretty much no 8K content to watch with them, so the issue of such advances is tied to there being content to watch, otherwise, the improvement provides no actual use.

It will stop advancing when humans themselves advance beyond their earthy bodies. At that point technology will be of no importance.

No, because it's only in its infancy with the best yet to come probably leading to the demise of humanity as we know it today.
