5 6/8 is known as an expression, you can't solve it, but you can rearrange and simplify it to look different.
5 6/8 = 5 + (2/2)x(3/4) ((removing the fraction))
= 5 3/4 <<<< I would answer this since the question was in this form!
Or convert to all fraction 5(4/4) + 3/4 = 23/4 as improper fraction

There isn't any answer, because 5 6/8 is not any sort of a question. Just sticking a question mark on the end does not MAKE it a question.
I suggest that you get some lessons in how to compose a sensible question before you embark on anything more serious.
