    the answer is not  in the ones  given 

    the reason we dont observe quantized states is that the states are so close together that they  are essentially continuous 

    think of the quantized states of  a  hydrogen electron

    you will notice the  lowest energy level and the  next higher is the  largest gap 

    then the gaps get smaller and smaller as the object gets closer to the surface of the  atom

    the same with  macroscopic  environment we dont see the   gaps   in between the   energy levels because they are so close together
