short poem explain the meaning?

I'm a fish the size of the sapsap only as wide as the slime taliptip leaves I thrash about creating a great stir because i am the company of the big apahap

    It's taken out of context. The poem describes not feeling the pain of a wound when you submit to it and don't resist it. The quote follows this, which means that you won't feel pain if you are small but if you want to have a big voice when you're small, then attach yourself to something big.
