What did he mean?

Okay, so I work the night shift and yesterday these guys were talking, I had headphones in so I didn't hear them, but I turned around and one of them tells me that "if our belt were to fight any other belt, you would be on the front line" what did he mean? Is he calling me a puss? Or does it give the best chance to win?

Sounds to me like he's saying he'd want you on his side in such a battle. He thinks you'd make a good fighter.
