Are the most famous Democratic socialists hypocrites?

AOC went to Boston University, one of the most expensive private schools in the country. Elizabeth Warren got paid $525,000 to write "A Fighting Chance." Bernie Sanders has three houses.

if you look at many of the countries often touted as examples of "successful democratic socialism," you'll notice that most of the "lovely benefits" the working and middle classes enjoy are funded from their OWN incomes via heavy taxation....

...this ensures that very few among those classes will ever accumulate enough wealth to compete with those nations' permanent aristocratic classes...

...now, compare that to the cities here often touted as "liberal bastions" like Kennedy's Boston, Pelosi's San Francisco and Obama's Chicago.... notice how they all also happen to be some of the starkest examples of generational wealth inequity and how much of the power is held by a handful of wealthy elites...

And? Were you gonna finish your thought question as to why you think they are hypocrites?

Their private choices seem to indicate they're part of the rat race. Aren't Democratic socialists supposed to be less materialistic?

If all of those people advocated the complete abolition of wealth you would have a point.

But they don’t. Maybe you should make those kinds of arguments about Karl Marx, who really did believe in abolishing wealth—and died in poverty.
