    You should open your computer case out. There might be a lot of dust in there that makes the computer slow

    There's a file on windows systems that causes a lot of lag on the computer called "System 32". Delete this, and it should work a lot better.

    defrag hard disk drive. 

    use disk cleanup

    use registry cleaner

    if you bothered to regularly maintain it, it should be fine......

      Olive, yeah my friend was fearful, and I've had both good experiences and bad, the bad was on system mechanic, totally screwed it up , never used that one again, Auslogics had nothing but good results

    Have you ever used a disk defragmenter? If not, it is listed in the accessories of all programs under system tools. Be advised that it may take several hours if you have not performed it before.

      maybe he's a troll for microslut.....not worried about it, one can use it offline for years if they're concerned..I've been considering linux.....

    Maybe it got corrupted.  Windows 7 is now obsolete.
