Adam, Eve and Satan didn't listen to God which brought sin into this world, so God is letting them have their way for now, but there will come a day when Christ Jesus will rule the earth and to Him every knee will bow.  If man would honor and listen to God, mankind would stop mass shootings.

You mean, like during World War I and World War II? Many millions of people were shot en mass.  Well, if God allows humans to go to war - whole nations at a time - He is also going to allow individual men consumed with hate and bitterness to shoot a few people in one location or other. After all, it's the same motivation for those who cause wars to erupt - men filled with hatred and bitterness, out to impose their will when diplomatic words have failed. Why should God be expected to stop men carrying out their desires?

What has humanity ever done for God that He should interfere with those who do not heed his warnings about sin crouching nearby, seeking to rule them? That was His warning to Cain, before he then murdered his brother. Cain chose to ignore God's warning and so do all who indulge in mass shootings. Indeed, so do we all, even if we abhor mass shootings - for we harbour hatred in our minds and hearts if we ignore the way of God.

I think there is a bigger question here, why are we blaming God for anything? The Bible says God is perfect Love, and so that would mean if this world is imperfect, maybe God didn't create this version of a world, maybe we did on some level of the mind....Science is catching up to the Universal Hologram theory, near death experiences are proving that theory may be very accurate on a level the human mind that it can't comprehend, and that might be by design, Jesus articulated that death isn't real, it may seem real from our vantage point, but from the Spirit level, its all illusion, death and destruction are occurring at the level of the human mind where we think our reality is, or is it?

Because He has given human beings free will, the right to choose between good and evil. Would you want God reaching out and smacking you every time you freely decided to so something against His will?

Because apparently the gods only care about the free will of criminals but not their victims.

Either that or the gods don't exist IRL.

He cares about all. There will be a resurrection, and we will all be judged according to our deeds. REVELATION 20:13

Free will.  He can’t always stop the bad things people do to each other.
