Yes, we belong to the genus Homo (with a Cap "H" on genus name), along with a dozen other human species.
Within the Homo genus, sapiens is our species name (no cap for species), the last extant human species.
So "Homo sapiens" is our species binomial full name (genus + species).
Since there are no contemporary homo sapiens subspecies, there is no subspecies name.
However, when paleoanthropologists discuss the evolution of Pleistocene H. sapiens, they identify for practical reasons several H. sapiens subspecies, different from the mainstream Homo sapiens sapiens:
- Homo sapiens idaltu:
our 160,000 years old East African cousins, either extinct or merged with us, especially northern Melanesian.
- Homo sapiens neanderthalensis:
before Neanderthals became their own separate species Homo neanderthalensis.
Neanderthals are now extinct, though partly merged into Europeans, Oceanians, etc.
Nowadays, all archaic Homo sapiens subspecies are either extinct or merged within us.
So the trinomial name "Homo sapiens sapiens" is meaningless to describe the contemporary population

Yes. In common usage, the word "human" generally refers to the only extant species of the genus H*mo—anatomically and behaviorally modern H. sapiens.

Yes, except for the Neanderthal in the White House. Sapiens is derived from the Latin word sapiō, which means wise. There is no wisdom in that moron in the Oval Office.
