My Doctor suggests a sleep study to see if a cPap machine would help me breathe better.  How does that work?  And would Medicare cover it?

I had two of them actually.  You get hooked up to all kinds of wires and they monitor your sleeping for about five hours.  That helps them decide if you need a CPAP and what the pressure settings should be.

Word of advice: don't drink much fluids prior to the test because it takes like 25 minutes to disconnect you.
