In many States yes. You could go to Nevada & do this. But they are still illegal.  You might keep her as a house wife till tiered of her. Then call immigration to be rid of her.  Easy to divorce them if they fail to show for court.

It's possible, just not advisable. Most counties will sell a marriage license to an illegal provided they have some kind of valid ID from their home country proving their age.

Sure, if that illegal alien has a valid government issued ID, such as a passport.

Other answers are correct that marrying someone who entered the USA illegally does not change their status.  It is not possible to "fix the papers" of someone who entered the USA illegally.

If they entered the USA legally on a real visa (not ESTA) then talk to an immigration attorney as it > may < be possible for them to adjust status while inside the USA.

Yep - just like marrying anyone

But marrying them doesn't make them legal

Yes, same way as anyone else gets married, although it changes nothing apart from meaning you are married, it will not make them legal

You get a marriage license, someone to conduct the ceremony and witnesses and do it like any other wedding.

Plan on moving to their country. NO way to "legalize" an illegal alien, not even marriage. Your fiancé/spouse MUST return to their country of citizenship & will be barred from reentry (probably 10 yrs, unless they committed any crime, in which case it's a permanent bar). You can join your fiancé/spouse in their country. If you do not reside with your spouse during their bar to reentry, it will be difficult, probably impossible, to prove a valid, ongoing, enduring & committed marital relationship to qualify to attempt to sponsor them once they complete their bar to reentry. Remember their prior visa/immigration violations will always be against them, and they could be denied any future visa/immigration after completing their bar.

You say "I do" and then duck ICE.
