Pagan religions of the world believe all living things have a God and if you beleive in them you'll go to Heaven and if you don't you'll be tortured in Hell.

for one's physical & mental functioning going forward.
So it's not easy ; but then I think of people like Greta Thunberg who have good support
around them whether from family or friends. And we must all make-the-most of that, as
in our own unique situation. I hope you can too.

No, felt emotion is. Wisdom is to emotion as education is to intellectual learning.

    • Emotions is our defence mechanism, Wisdom is to emotion as fish is to cycling.

    No. Knowing Truth directly is.

No. Philosophy is certainly not the supposed "key to Wisdom".

It has long been thought to be even in these industrial times.

Inextricably intertwined with modern industrialism it can

    certainly have the same fate.

For we now know thanks to Thunberg & others that industrial

dreams are at-a-premium & hold fast to a fantasy that is not

just wrong but holds a terrible future for all who mistakenly

    support that enterprise,

And the same for modern taught & perceived philosophy :

along with its insensible & catastrophic "logic" which has

been the bane of both philosophy & even mathematics

    throughout.

When Descartes tried to Explain Away the dualism of the

Body-mind problem he unleashed the unfortunate mistake

of thinking that philosophy was actually ABOVE human

thought, at least equal to it.

It ISN'T, we know that now. For there is a realm above &

certainly beyond human present knowledge & human present

philosophy too. It is the realm of reflection upon

the big mistakes of such philosophy that it has been complicit,

the Environment and Moral environmental philosophy mistakes

    still occurring...

all this shows a lack of sense in today's philosophy, and a sensibility

which has been mistakenly thought existed in hard technology^..

masquerading AS A GOOD REASONABLE Science, & related

    sciences.

Things are critically changing & so they should. As noted here

before we must make our philosophy mistakes as our TECHNICAL

experimental mistakes, that is we MUST make these not only quicker

but better-&-better within the approaching "short term window"...

    an Environmental different future.

Opening another chance with a new challenge for understanding our

wonderful philosophical past, its mistakes, its limitations.

^ Plus a lack of allied sensitivity in the accompanying hard

mathematics, & so the LOGIC of its foundations too.

Source(s): the limitING mistake of Philosophy - see the Body-Mind mistake therein. Thanks to "P" here, "Glow Wings" & "Bulldog redux" et al including those who have answered "no" too. I may not love you all as much as I do now, just saying. We understand the hope for this little world of ours... an environment for hope & LEARNING above all else. I thank you again, you've made this guy quite humble, appreciative, and sentimental now!

No. Wisdom has little to do with philosophy as an academic achievement which is a popular measure amongst academics. Wisdom comes from within although study can bring insight.

Wisdom can grow with life, but needs to be encouraged. Philosophy has lessons to teach, but needs an attentive and open learner

Wisdom is wise dominion.  A key is an algorithm that resolves the distance between you and wise dominion.

Wise dominion includes the God-directed Oneness of  I and the Father are One, Plotinus' One Mind Soul, and is more commonly perceived as self-actualization, or the exercise of dominion over conditions:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maslow's_hierarchy_o...

Generally, knowledge is power, and pure lovingkindness balances power, and knowledge as wisdom.

I think that making mistakes is the key to wisdom.

    • Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome is the definition of foolishness

learning from your mistakes is wisdom

learning from others mistakes is wisdom indeed.
