Are coincidences considered to be Laws of Nature?

I consider coincidences to be a process by which the mind perceives similarities, or a relationship, between things that are, otherwise, unrelated. I'm not much inclined to consider that process as a "Law of Nature", but I do see it as a natural tendency of the human mind.

  • Nothing happens by coincidence or by chance.  Everything and everyone we experience is presented to us, to teach us something invaluable in our individual life journey.  Throughout ones lifetime, these experiences will reoccur and become more exacerbated until we get it or learn from it.  If one fails to learn his lessons in the many years of his youth, he will have to gain from them when he no longer has the wherewithal and stamina to want to learn.  However he must,  before he leaves this world.  :D

It is not the law of nature but the fate. You can see it even as Karma. Karma means deed. Your past deeds determine your present and your present deeds determine your future. Unexpected incidents are happening by spirits. Spirits determine your destiny from your daily activities, talks and thoughts too.

God doesn't watch each and every human being at the same time and cannot live with each and everyone to guide them. These works are done by the spirits. God had created different kinds of spirits for various purposes. He had made the spirits to watch, guide and determine the destiny of the human beings from their daily activities, talks and thoughts too. Your past determines your present and your present determines your future. God has given freewill to all creatures including human beings. According to this, all human beings have all right to live a life as they wish. But if it happens to be bad and hurts someone, they have to face the consequences. These consequences are created by spirits. It's a natural system. After death no one lives in any form. Heaven and hell are only for spirits, not for human beings. God is a mystery even to the spirits. Spirits are not eternal beings but their lifetime is long. Spirits are separate elements. A human being during his/her lifetime is living with many spirits which have joined one by one since birth. They are knowledge, skills, feelings, emotions, interests and everything. These spirits are your consciousnesses and memories. Even thoughts are not your own. For example, when you want to take a decision on a subject, one after another the spirits think and you just listen, choose or reject the ideas which they transmit to your mind through your brain in the form of thoughts. Brain is just a media to connect the spirits to your mind. A mind is just a computer's mind. A mind is you. After the destruction of a computer completely you will not get it's mind. The same is the case with the human beings.  A human being doesn't have a spiritual body. Soul is nothing but an energy needed for the functionality of a body. It is not a spirit or anything else. A body's functionality is based on the auto mechanism.  After death all spirits which accompanied a person quit and go to different places searching new bodies. No one lives in any form after death. All human beings are just robots made of flesh and bones and toys of the spirits for their games.

NO. Not even remotely. They're a part of human nature, not a law of nature itself.

There are just coincidences and coincidences that express the holistic unity of life, and so it isn't really a coincidence. The separation of life is just the thinnest of illusory veils.

A coincidence may or may not be an expression of a Law, i.e., a Causal process, of Nature, i.e. geometrized Energy.

If there is an operant law, functions of that law will inject effects of that causal process--which occurs in a domain--into a codomain.

The basic wisdom is that correlations are not necessarily causation.

The basic import of a co-incidence is a co-existing in a given space, "E" (not a co-relating, if by co-relating causal linking is implied--which circularizes the question).

If there is a causal process, it is mapped from a domain B to a codomain space E.  This would constitute a set of causative or law processes.  If there are two points co-existing in E, each may be generated by two domains of causation, A and B, each injecting or surjecting into the respective points in E.  Thus the two points in E would be co-inciding, but not co-relating (expressing a single causation or law).

Real atom-world causal processes are more complex, hence more than one independent variable may be in play, even for a single point.  Point 1 in E may occur via two or more domains working conjointly, e.g. temperature and pressure.  If T and P are understood as correlative factors, dependent variables, they may be combined into a single domain, but imho this would usually occur when the causal processes are mapped to such knowledgeable detail.

p.s.  Laws of Nature reflect Laws of God; for example, Aristotle conceived of God as Self-aware Mind, and his doing so, given his general down-to-earth focus or orientation, shows he himself was aware at some level of Mind as Creator God.  Thus, a natural law such as causality reflects God's Law of the One.  In this, all in the universe expresses a holism or interconnectivity.  Howbeit, the weakness of correlative causality among some physical processes may be ignored in favor of the "butterfly causing a storm" hypothesis.  This may reflect a partial, heuristic awareness on the part of some that interconnectivity even at the level of Mind, Light, is great, but there are levels of sets, subsets of space, etc., that mitigate much holism when energy veils re Spirit, or atom causal processes re Mater, are in play.

  • No.  Coincidence is a human perception of normal probability.

Things happening "by coincidence" is a human construct, in nature things just happen.  Any meaning attached to events is put there by humans.  Entropy, or the concept that things left to chance tend towards disorder, is a law of nature (or at least it appears that way - biology, or life, seems to be an exception).
